2024 Nfl Season Preview Could The Chiefs Make History

2024 NFL Season Preview: Could the Chiefs make history?

A potential historic three-peat

The Kansas City Chiefs are looking to make history in the 2024 NFL season as they attempt to become the first team to win three consecutive Super Bowls since the New England Patriots did it from 2001 to 2004. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes will turn 29 this season. Despite the Chiefs losing wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins this offseason, they still have plenty of weapons in the passing game, and Mahomes' favorite target, tight end Travis Kelce continues to excel. Kansas City also has a strong defense led by Chris Jones, Frank Clark, and L'Jarius Sneed.

Rookie quarterbacks

There are several rookie quarterbacks who could make an impact in the NFL in 2024. The most highly-touted prospect is Bryce Young from the University of Alabama. Young is a dynamic playmaker who can make all the throws. He is a bit slight of frame and a question mark remains for his durability in the NFL. If Young can adjust quickly to the professional game, he could have a big impact on the Arizona Cardinals. Other rookie quarterbacks to watch include C.J. Stroud from Ohio State and Anthony Richardson from the University of Florida.

First foray into South America

The NFL is expanding its international footprint in 2024 with a game in Mexico City, Mexico. The Kansas City Chiefs will take on the New England Patriots in the Estadio Azteca on November 18th. This will be the first-ever NFL game played in Mexico City, and it is sure to be a big success. The NFL has a large and passionate fan base in Mexico, and the game is expected to draw a huge crowd. The NFL's expansion into Mexico is a sign of the league's growing global popularity.
